This is true — 23/7!

Today I’m determined to finish the manuscript for the Ten-Square Book about Scripture Memory.  In working on it this morning, I realized there is one truth in the Bible that’s true 23/7.  It is inviolable and inevitable.  It can’t be changed or altered.  It’s always at work in our lives, either for good or bad.

Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (NKJV). Our thoughts are the most important thing about us. All that we achieve or fail to achieve is the direct result of our thinking. We are what we think, and our lives run in the direction of our thoughts. If we think successful thoughts, we’ll be successful; if we think angry thoughts, we’ll be angry; if we think positive thoughts, we’ll be positive; if we think negative thoughts, we’ll be negative. The mind is a garden, and we have to cultivate it, and we are responsible for the kind of seed we sow into the furrows of our mind. Hence the importance of Scripture memory that implants Bible verses in our brains to remold the mind from within.

The principle of Proverbs 23:7 is true 24/7.  It is an inviolable law of life:  As we think in our hearts so are we.
