A Few Pictures Before Heading Home

My son-in-law, Ethan Pierce, and I are heading back home tomorrow, and I’m eager to get back to my wife and to my work. Ethan and I have studied the Christian and Jewish sites of Prague, bicycled down the Danube Valley in Austria, gotten the lay of the land in Bratislava, Slovakia (which will be the setting for the Christmas Eve story I’m writing this year), and tramped up the hills and through the streets of old Budapest. Except for missing one train (we caught the next one an hour later), we’ve had no travel glitches; and except for a couple of brief showers, we’ve had great weather. A lot to be thankful for. Thanks to all who have prayed for our safety! Here are a few pictures. Can’t wait to get home!
