To walk down the Mount of Olives and see Jerusalem sprawling before you\, or to ride across the Sea of Galilee\, are moments you will never forget. In fact\, the experiences seem to transform our faith. We hope you can join us on our next adventure! Email sherry@robertjmorgan.com for more information. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nItinerary\n\n\n\n\n\nDAY 1 & 2 – SEPT. 1-2: NEW YORK/TEL-AVIVWe depart in the evening on a direct flight aboard Delta Airlines. Full service on board. Upon arrival in Israel\, we’ll be met by our bus\, guide\, and tour representative. We’ll board our bus and travel to Natanya on the Mediterranean coast for our first night. We will be staying at the Medi Terre Natanya Hotel. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDAY 3 – SEPT. 3: MEDITERRANEAN COAST & INLAND TOWARD TIBERIASAfter breakfast we will travel north to visit Caesarea Maritima and the Roman Aquaducts\, Mt. Carmel & Muhraka\, and the Sisters of Nazareth Convent. We will end the day at the Ron Beach Hotel\, which is a small family-owned hotel where every room has a fantastic view of the Sea of Galilee! We’ll enjoy a lovely buffet dinner and a get good first night’s rest in Tiberias. \n\n\n\nDAY 4 – SEPT. 4: GALILEEToday we’ll tour sites in Northern Israel including Tel Dan and Caesarea Philippi (Banias) at the headwaters of the Jordan River. Overnight in Tiberias. \n\n\n\n\n\nDAY 5 – SEPT. 5: GALILEE & JORDAN VALLEYAfter breakfast we’ll start our day on the Mount of Beatitudes commemorating where Jesus gave His Sermon on the Mount\, & Capernaum. From there we’ll climb to the top of Mt. Arbel\, then on to Yardenit for baptisms in the Jordan River for those who wish to do so. Afterwards we’ll stop at Magdala for a chapel service together and tour the Jesus Boat Museum. That evening we will take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight in Tiberias. \n\n\n\nDAY 6 – SEPT. 6: SAMARIA AND THE JORDAN VALLEY We’ll depart after breakfast for  Mt. Gerisim (the Mount of Blessing) in Samaria. We’ll visit a Samaritan Village and ancient Shiloh. Afterward we’ll head toward the Holy City with a stop in Jericho\, the Dead Sea for swimming\, and the Wadi Kelt overlook. Overnight in Jerusalem at the Grand Court Hotel. \n\n\n\nDAY 7 – SEPT. 7: JERUSALEM & BETHLEHEMAfter breakfast we’ll worship together on the Mount of Olives\, walk down the Palm Sunday road and visit the traditional Garden of Gethsemane and All Nations Church\, then drive to Bethlehem to visit Shepherds’ Field. Overnight in Jerusalem. \n\n\n\n\n\nDAY 8 – SEPT. 8: JERUSALEMWe’ll start our day at the Southern Steps where Jesus once walked. After that we’ll visit Temple Mount\, the pool of Bethesda\, St. Anne’s Church\, walk along the Via Dolorsa and make the Church of the Holy Sepulcher our last stop of the day. Free time that afternoon in Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem. \n\n\n\nDAY 9 – SEPT. 9:  JERUSALEMThis morning we’ll start the day at the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem)\, then head back into Jersualem to visit Gordon’s Calvary and the Garden Tomb where we’ll share the Lord’s Supper. Then we’ll go into the Old City to tour the Temple Institute and the Western Wall tunnels. Overnight in Jerusalem. \n\n\n\nDAY 10 – SEPT. 10: SOUTHERN ISRAELAfter an early breakfast we’ll depart at 8a for Beit Guvrin\, the site of the fantastic Bell Caves. We should be back in Jerusalem by noon to give a full afternoon of free time in the Old City\, including a tour of Hezekiah’s Tunnel for those interested. Overnight in Jerusalem. \n\n\n\nDAY 11 – SEPT. 11: TEL-AVIV/JFKWe’ll say goodbye to Israel and catch a mid-morning flight back to JFK\, full of memories\, increased knowledge of the Bible and beautiful pictures to share with family and friends! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: \n\n\n\n\nSometimes while on the tour we have to tweak the itinerary slightly depending on conditions on the ground such as crowds\, traffic or unexpected interruptions.\n\n\n\nPastor Morgan will provide short Bible teaching segments at the major sites as well as commentary on the bus to make the trip biblically informative and inspirational. Please let Sherry know on your travel day to JFK if anything changes with your arrival time.• Arrive at Terminal 1 for our flight four hours prior to departure.• Seating will be assigned by the airline. If you change your seating or make any other adjustments\, please be aware that control of your ticket will no longer be with the TriStar Tours\, but with the airline itself. Please let Sherry know if you want to request special seating (i.e.\, aisle\, window\, next to someone). • If you wish to upgrade to Premium Economy or Business class\, please do so on your registration form. The cost to upgrade goes up as fewer seats become available\, so please request early.• Consider enrolling in the airline’s frequent flyer program.• If you have a Known Traveler Number (KTN) issued by TSA\, you can provide that to us and we will note it on your account. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Arrival Information• You will be given your name badge upon arrival and are asked to wear it throughout the entire tour. This helps identify you as part of our group and makes it easier to get to know people better.• We will go through customs and passport control as a group\, then you can go on to the gate.• If at any point during our flights you have missing or damaged luggage\, fill out paperwork with the airline before leaving the baggage claim area.• Exit baggage claim area and we will meet you. Guides will remain in the area to locate guests.• Follow guide instructions for transferring to the bus and loading luggage. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Buses• Our deluxe touring buses are air-conditioned with a capacity of 55-60 people. • Buses in Israel do not have bathrooms; however\, frequent restroom stops are made. •  You may leave items on the bus during the touring day. Take all personal items with you at the end of each touring day. •  Bottled water is available for purchase for $1.00 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Cell Phones • Confirm that your cell phone can be used internationally. • Request international rates for Israel. • Inquire about the activating and deactivating process. • Keep in mind other technology and apps that may be available to you such as WhatsApp. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Clothing No “dress-up” events are scheduled.• Comfortable walking shoes are a must. •A jacket is recommended for nights in Jerusalem.• Some religious sites such as monasteries require your knees & shoulders be covered (applies to both men & women). Bottled water is recommended while touring and can be purchased on the bus for $1.00.BreakfastThe hotel buffets include a variety of American\, European\, and Middle Eastern breakfast foods\, including coffee\, tea\, and juice. (Eggs\, deli meat\, cheese\, bread\, cereal\, yogurt\, milk\, and salads are offered).LunchLunch is at your own expense. Your guide will choose a restaurant that will typically offer falafel\, shawarma or schnitzel. These are served in a pita with a shredded cabbage slaw and a sauce. You should expect $15 – $20 per person\, which includes a drink.DinnerThe hotel buffet includes a variety of meat and vegetables. A salad bar\, bread station\, and dessert bar offer seemingly limitless options. Beverages other than water are not included but can be purchased at a supplemental charge. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Medical DevicesMedical devices that require electricity will likely need an international adapter/converter.  The adapter simply allows you to plug your appliance into the various wall plugs in foreign countries. The converter is used to step up or down the voltage to properly support the electrical appliance.• Notify the airline of your intention to bring a medical device on board and if you intend to use it in-flight (this includes CPAP machines). 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Medications • Bring medication in its original container if possible. • A written prescription of your medication(s) in generic form from your physician will assist in getting an emergency refill if needed while out of the country. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Mobility RequirementsGuests registering for this tour accept the responsibility for being in good health and able to walk unassisted on the tour (this includes without the aid of walkers and canes\, etc.). Many sites are not accessible to the physically challenged.• Buses are not handicapped-accessible and do not have space for storing wheelchairs\, motorized wheelchairs/scooters\, or other ambulatory assistance items.• If you need assistance\, you will need to bring a travel partner to help.• On average\, you can expect to walk 3-5 miles a day over uneven ground and need to be able to climb stairs unassisted.We ask that you please discuss the information listed above with us. It is important to take these matters seriously\, for the comfort and well-being of all involved. We trust that you will understand why we feel it is necessary to address this issue before your departure. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			About Being Baptized• If you wish to be baptized in the Jordan River\, please bring something to wear underneath the baptismal robe\, which is very thin. This can be a swimsuit or shorts and a t-shirt.• The cost for your baptism is approximately $15 and will include your robe and a towel.• A certificate of baptism is also provided. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			What to Wear at The Dead Sea and Hezekiah’s Tunnel• If you plan to swim/float in the Dead Sea you will need a swimsuit or shorts and a t-shirt. Be aware that\, while you can rinse off when you get out\, you’ll have to keep up with your wet clothes for the remainder of the day. You might consider packing something disposable for this once-in-a-lifetime experience that you can toss before getting back on the bus.• If you plan to venture through Hezekiah’s Tunnel\, water shoes will be needed. Keen’s are a good option\, as are cheap water shoes you can buy at a big box store then toss. No swimsuit is needed. The water is cold but will only come up about mid-thigh. If you have a head light\, you might consider bringing it\, as the only light in the tunnel is what we take in with us! 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Money• ATMs are available; however\, you will only receive the local currency. Notify your bank or credit card company if you plan to make purchases with your credit card. Debit card is highly discouraged.• ATM usage generally is subject to fees and daily withdrawal limits.• The amount of cash you take on tour is a personal decision.• Keep in mind lunch is not included. You should expect to spend $18-$20/day for lunch.• Smaller bills are suggested. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Passport• U.S. Citizens – a valid passport is required.• Passports MUST be valid for 6 months after your return to the USA.• Passport copies need to be on file with the Sherry Anderson. The requested fee on site is NIS 25 – about $7. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Trip InsuranceWe strongly recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans help provide coverage for Trip Cancellation\, Trip Interruption\, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation\, Trip Delay\, Baggage Delay\, and more. Missionsafe.org is one option and they offer both trip insurance and short-term medical coverage (separate policies). For the medical coverage we recommend their IQ Gold plan which provides coverage for under $4/day/person. For more information about their various plans\, click here. Please note that currently there are no companies covering trip interruption due to the ongoing conflict in Israel. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			VaccinationsAt this time\, none are required. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Deposits and Final PaymentsThere is total protection on your funds. All monies will be held in an escrow account. A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking in the form of a check or money order only. Payment for the tour must be made to TriStar Tours/Escrow Account by the passenger through the Tour Host\, who is the passenger’s agent for the collection and remittance for payment. No other person is authorized to request\, receive\, or collect payments. Final payment is due no later than 90-days prior to departure. If payment is received within 30-days of departure\, please include $75 late fee. Returned checks are subject to an administrative fee of $35. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			Cancellations & RefundsRequests for a refund must be in writing. Refunds will be issued within 45-days of receipt of written notice. For all cancellations up to 90-days prior to departure\, for whatever reason\, there will be an administrative fee of $250 per person to cover handling fees. For cancellations 89-60 days prior to departure a $350 fee per person\, 59-45 days prior to departure a $450 fee per person and within 45-days of departure full cancellation will apply.
