DAY 1 & 2 – SEPT. 22-23: NEW YORK/TEL-AVIV
We depart late in the afternoon on a Lufthansa flight through Brussels. Full service on board. Upon arrival in Israel, we’ll be met by our bus, guide, and tour representative. We’ll board our bus and travel to Tiberias for our first night in the Galilee region for a good night’s rest at the Magdala Hotel.

DAY 3 – SEPT. 24: CAESAREA PHILLIP/SEA OF GALILEE
Today we’ll tour sites in Northern Israel including Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi (Banias) at the headwaters of the Jordan River, the Mount of Beatitudes commemorating where Jesus gave His Sermon on the Mount, & Capernaum. We’ll also have a night-time service onboard a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight in Tiberias.

DAY 4 – SEPT. 25: GALILEE
After breakfast we’ll climb to the top of Mt. Arbel for a breathtaking vista of the Sea of Galilee before heading to Nazareth. While there we will tour Mt. Precipice as well as Nazareth Village. We will also visit the Church of the Annunciation before heading to Khirbet Kanna, the site of the marriage feast & Jesus’ first miracle, & then back to the Sea of Galilee to visit the ruins of Magdala. Overnight in Tiberias.

DAY 5 – SEPT. 26: JORDAN VALLEY
We’ll depart after breakfast for Yardenit where anyone wanting to can be baptized in the Jordan River. Then it’s on to Beit She’an, which is the site of some fabulous Roman ruins before heading south toward Jerusalem. On the way we’ll travel through the Jordan Valley to Jericho. Then we’ll stop briefly at the Wadi Kelt to the overlook of St. George before making our way into the Holy City. Overnight in Jerusalem at the Grand Court Hotel.

DAY 6 – SEPT. 27: JERUSALEM & BETHLEHEM
After breakfast we’ll worship together on the Mount of Olives, walk down the Palm Sunday road and visit the traditional Garden of Gethsemane and All Nations Church, then drive to Bethlehem to visit Shepherds’ Field. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 7 – SEPT. 28: JERUSALEM
We’ll start our day on Temple Mount, then visit the pool of Bethesda, the Jewish Quarter & Davidson Archeological Park (including the Southern Steps of the Temple). That afternoon we’ll tour the Western Wall Tunnels. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 8 – SEPT. 29:  SAMARIA
This morning we’ll be making a special trip to Samaria, traveling to Shiloh & Mt. Gerizim (the home of Samuel, Eli, & the Tabernacle). Then it’s on to Ein Karem, the home of John the Baptist. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 9 – SEPT. 30: JERUSALEM & MASADA
We’ll start the day with a moving visit to the Garden Tomb. Then we’ll board the bus & head down to Masada, another of Herod’s palaces & the location of a Roman seige that tragically ended in a mass suicide of the Jewish occupiers. Afterwards we’ll visit En Gedi, a lush area with beautiful waterfalls. We are hoping to return to Jerusalem early enough to have some free time to explore the Old City on your own, including slogging through Hezekiah’s Tunnel. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 10 – OCT. 1: TEL-AVIV/JFK
We’ll say goodbye to Israel and catch an early morning flight back to JFK, full of memories, increased knowledge of the Bible and beautiful pictures to share with family and friends!
