Greetings from Israel

I’ve not been able to transfer or post pictures of our trip to Israel, but wanted to give just a quick note to say all is well. Our group had a wonderful day. We started by going to the Mount of Beatitudes, getting there before the crowds so we could spent time in contemplation. Then we drove to the far north in the region of Caesarea Philippi, then back to the town of Capernaum, then across the Sea of Galilee by boat, and finally on to a special baptism service in the River Jordan, where I had the joy of baptizing my son-in-law, Ethan Pierce, along with about a dozen others. Now we’re in for the evening, tired but thankful.

  1. Sounds like a really great day. What a way to bookend it!!! You guys are going to come home all glowing like you’ve been on Mt. Sinai. BTW, when is THAT happening? 🙂 Don’t come back bearing 10 new C’s for me to adhere to…
