According to a report last week, there are 2,325 billionaires in the world (average age: 63). But they aren’t the wealthiest people around. Christians are heirs of the unsearchable riches of Christ. We have a relationship with God we could never earn; access to His throne we could never buy; a purpose in life we could never purchase; precious promises no amount of money could acquire; a book that surpasses silver and gold; wisdom that exceeds diamonds and rubies; peace that passes understanding; and a mansion laid up for us in heaven, never to fade, crumble, spoil, or perish. We’ll never outspend the blessings of God.
