Yesterday we started the day on the Mount of Olives where I spoke from Matthew 24 and Acts 1 about the return of Christ, with the whole city of Jerusalem and its Temple Mount as backdrop. Then we hiked down to the Garden of Gethsemene; then toured the Davidson Center and the street level scenes at the time of Christ–the most fascinating part of our trip so far. In the afternoon it was off to Bethlehem where I read Luke 2 in the Shepherd’s Fields. The evening was a wonderful mean in the home of our guide, who lives between Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
Today’s agenda: Masada and the Dead Sea. Dinner back here in Jerusalem with some dear friends who live and labor here.
